Europe's largest entertainment complex EuroVegas will be built in Spain, near Madrid. U.S. billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who owns the corporation Las Vegas Sands, will pay 9.8 billion euros for complex. The first part of the project, consisting of 3,000 hotel rooms and few gambling establishments, will open in 2017.
Total EuroVegas complex will consist of 12 hotels, casinos, conference rooms, 3 golf courses, theaters and shops, a 250-meter skyscraper of 2 towers and a copy of New York's Times Square. Fully complex will be built in 18 years.
Europe's largest entertainment complex EuroVegas can affect unemployment and raise the interest in real estate in Madrid. Skeptics believe the complex will promote crime and prostitution.
