39% of Spaniards are ready to buy a home

During the voting on the Spanish portal Look and Find it was revealed that 39% of respondents believed that it's a good time to buy a home, 26% prefered to wait and see the situation, and 35% opposed the purchase of property in Spain in the next months, reports ee24.com citing kyero.com.

The Look and Find also says that since 2006 prices have fallen by 35%, but the decline in the last quarter was insignificant to take it into account. The study shows that if Spaniards had money or opportunities to get cheap loans, then buying a home would be one of the most preferred investments.

Last year, there were 166.2 thousand transactions (+2.2%) made on the secondary market, and 145.2 thousand transactions (-6.8%) on the primary. Recall that according to notaries, in the first month of this year housing in the country even slightly increased in price - up to €1,294 per sq.m.
