Apartments in Serbia have fallen in value to €60 thousand

According to the Statistical Office of Serbia, in the second half of 2013 new apartments in this country were worth by 1.7% more in the national currency, and by 0.4% more taking into account the fluctuations of the euro, than in the first half, writes ee24.com citing webrzs.stat.gov.rs.

Apartments in Serbia in the primary market were sold at a price of €1,103 per sq.m. The average area of ​​apartments that were purchased in the country, amounted to 54 sq.m. Thus, the cost of a typical apartment was €59.6 thousand.

The most expensive housing is still located in Belgrade and costs €1,437 per sq.m. Apartment with area of 59 sq.m in the capital could be bought for €84.8 thousand. A square meter in the city of Novi Sad was sold at €915, in Kragujevac - for €953. It was possible to buy an apartment in Nis, the third most populous city in Serbia, only for €662 per sq.m.

Recall that experts do not expect growth in property prices in Serbia in 2014.
