House in Lisbon where the dictator António de Salazar lived, was put up for sale for €5.5 million, according to ee24.com following Portuguese media.
Salazar, who served as Prime Minister of Portugal for more than 34 years, lived in the house from 1933 to 1937 - at the beginning of his work on this post. Now the building has only walls and floors, although its historical and architectural value can not be doubted.
Only the land under a structure, which is 1,410 square meters, is already worth of requested money, since it's located in the center of Lisbon. But anyway the demolishing of the entire building is prohibited: the state requires to keep the facade.
