Office investment volume in Poland

According to CBRE research "Offices in Polish cities 2012", after a period of a general slowdown in the real estate investment market, 2010 and 2011 saw a substantial recovery. The revival was more clearly visible in Western Europe, however, Poland was the most active among CEE markets.

The increased interest in the Polish market was fuelled by positive economic indicators and the stability of the economy attracted foreign capital to invest in properties.

There were 27 office investment transactions in 2011, totaling 1 200 000 000 euro last year, amounting to 39% of the total investment volume in Poland (3 100 000 000 euro).

International capital plays key role in investment activity in Poland, mostly from Germany, Austria and the UK. Local investors were involved in only 8% of the total volume registered in the office sector.
