Montenegro project "Porto Montenegro" is becoming more popular

This year, the popularity of yachting complex "Porto Montenegro" in Montenegro rose slightly compared to last year. Press service of complex reports that from January 1 to July 15, 2013 the complex was visited by over a thousand yachts, and for the same period last year the figure was only 783 yachts. The average duration of parking on site also increased. It was 20 days this year compared to 16 - in the past.

Sailors are not the only visitors of the complex. There are exhibitions, tastings and other events that attract a lot of tourists and other visitors. In particular, only one submarine Heroj P-821 attracted more than 2,400 visitors this month.

To date, the Canadian billionaire Peter Munk has already invested almost €200 million in the complex, that is located on the shore of Kotor Bay in the town of Tivat in place where an abandoned military port once was.

The complex consists of five residences for 130 apartments. According to the press secretary of "Porto Montenegro" Danilo Kalezić, all apartments in the complex have already been sold. However, residency Regent Hotels & Resorts is now under construction, and soon the construction of a residence for 40-45 apartments will begin. Square meter of housing in the complex costs about €6,500.

A marina of 245 berths for yachts of all sizes is located at the complex. This is one of the few ports where ships which length exceeds 50 meters can moor. In the future, it is planned to build 170 additional berths. When the project is finally completed, the port will be able to moor 800 boats.

"Porto Montenegro" opens the doors for both locals and tourists on vacation in Montenegro. The complex offers 64 meter pool "Lido Mar" and the beach called Purobeach. It is noted that the prices inside the complex does not differ from the prices in Budva - Montenegro's main resort.
