Montenegrin authorities will make every effort to ensure that the Ukrainian tourists who accustomed to rest in the Crimea, came this summer on the Adriatic coast. This was stated by the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Ukraine Stanislav Dovgij, writes ee24.com citing pobjeda.me.
Consul said that after the Crimea joined Russia, Ukrainians are not be able to rest on the peninsula. Every year a few million of them visit Crimea, a tidbit for any southern country with affordable prices.
Dovgij noted that one of the main challenges will be the opening of tourist offices, which will provide information to Ukrainians travelling to Montenegro. On average, this country is visited annually by 65 thousand Ukrainians, and the number is growing. The number of Ukrainian citizens who buy real estate in Montenegro, particularly in Budva, is also growing.
Recall that the Bulgaria, which is closer, also hopes to greet Ukrainian tourists. Rumen Draganov, head of the Institute for the Analysis and Forecast in tourism, expects an increase in number of tourists from Russia and Ukraine. Moreover, Bulgarians expect that the crisis in Egypt will contribute to attracting tourists from the former Soviet Union.
