Riviera is not just the French Riviera. Other countries "appropriated" this name: the Italian Riviera, the Turkish Riviera, the Crimean Riviera. In Montenegro there is the Budva Riviera, a 35-kilometers long coastline with the highest real estate prices.
Budva is considered to be one of the most alluring destinations for tourists. All the villas are located close to the sea (from 5 to 100 meters). There are shops, restaurants and cafes on the seafront of the complex. But the greatest pride of the complex is two private sandy beaches.
The cost of apartments there begins with the amount €308,000. Construction of the complex is in the final stage of external works and it will be completed in spring 2014. Apartment keys will be handed over on the 1st of June. The Budva Riviera has long enjoyed a demand among the Russians. Montenegro is on the second place in the top 10 of foreign countries that have become a second home to the Russians (the leader is Bulgaria). Researches show that property at sea in Montenegro is one of the favorite places to buy housing among the Russians. A lot of Russians buy and even built villas in Budva. Building accommodation for living there yourself is not reasonable, but critics consider buying a plot of land with subsequent construction of a property for sale or lease to be a relevant option.
You will be able to purchase a plot (143 sq.m.) on a hill in a quiet and pleasant area of Lazi for €45,100.
Among foreigners there are more than a half of the Russians: 52% of the Russians buy apartments in Montenegro, they are mainly Muscovites, closely followed by the ones from St. Petersburg. Nowadays in Budva there is a school for Russian-speaking children.
