The property is set in three and a half hectares of pine and chestnut woods, with over 100 olive trees and other fruit trees, with beautiful views over the valley. The small swimming pool and its sun terrace seem to hover over the trees and provide a peaceful spot for lounging in the Tuscan sunshine.
The Borgo Incanto is accessed via a long concrete drive, at the end of which is a wall with large iron gates.
Farmhouse (240 sqm. approx.): Originally built in 1743, the substantial farmhouse was completely restored in 2004, preserving, where possible, the original materials. It lies on three floors as follows: on the ground floor is the kitchen, dining room and utility/bathroom. A sweeping iron and chestnut staircase leads to the first floor arranged as a suite of 3 sitting rooms, featuring nice working fireplaces and access to the marble paved courtyard. On the top floor there is 1 master bedroom and 1 double bedroom with 1 bathroom (shower and bathtub).
Cottage A (90 sqm. approx.) The largest of the three cottages is on two levels. Downstairs is the large eat-in kitchen with an original fireplace, 1 double bedroom and a bathroom. The cootage has also two private outside terraces overlooking the valley.
Cottage B (60 sqm. approx.) This two-storey cottage dates back to 1743 and has a pretty sitting room with a wood burning stove and a kitchen downstairs, one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower upstairs. The private terrace has extensive views over the valley and overlooks the pool.
Cottage C (60 sqm. approx.) The 2nd of the smaller cottages was originally the old bakehouse and still has the original, full size pizza oven in the sitting room on the top floor together with the kitchen. On the ground floor is the double bedroom with the bathroom and access onto the private outside terrace.
The swimming pool measures 8X4 metres and seems to hang above the trees, giving wonderful views across the valley.
The whole area was remodelled in 2004, with the addition of a brick path with stone steps, a large brick patio area and a wooden deck suspended over the valley.
Services: mains water and electricity, each unit has full independent LPG heating system switchable to a wood-burning heater, which is very economical in winter.
