The Russians are among the three major property buyers in Italy

Russian citizens actively buy property in Italy, and in 2013 they've become the third major foreign buyers. Now the Russians are second only to the Germans and the British, writes ee24.com.

Italian Ambassador to Russia Maria Ragaglini notes that in 2005 the proportion of Russians among foreigners who bought property in the Apennine peninsula, was only 2%, while to the previous year the figure increased to 13%. And this is every 8th purchase from abroad.

The ambassador said that Italy would not lose money by closing the Russians the way to the Italian market. In tough times, when Europe and America are arguing about the introduction of new sanctions, Italy is not going to complicate the process of buying property.
