La Voglina Villa in the Italian region of Piedmont, with 74 rooms and a rich history is put up for sale for £3.8m (€5.12m). In 1800 it was the headquarters of the French troops under the command of Napoleon Bonaparte at the Battle of Marengo, ee24.com informs with reference to Daily Mail.

The mansion was designed by the famous Italian architect Filippo Juvarra in XVIII century, in the Renaissance (facades) and Baroque styles (interior). On a plot of 24.3 hectares there are the mansion with 13 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, a chapel for 30 people, a guest house, the French formal gardens and terraces with vineyards that with proper approach can produce about 100,000 wine bottles per year.
