Italian government is going to put the Ligurian villa Zanelli for auction with a starting value of €5.1 million, according to ee24.com citing riarealty.ru.
The villa built in Art Nouveau style will be sold at auction in February 2014. The building located on the seafront in Savona will be auctioned together with other objects in the possession of the region.
The villa consists of a complex of buildings, which in addition to the central two-storey house includes a caretaker's house, stables and an utility room. The total area of the villa is 2,000 sq.m.
The starting price of the house, which was built by the architect Gottardo Gussoni is €5.1 million, but the auction organizers are confident that they can get a much larger sum for the villa.
