The world's tallest tower of LEGO was built in the Hungarian capital. Height of the column reached 34.76 meters, reports ee24.com citing sobadsogood.com.
The installation is located opposite the largest cathedral in Budapest - St. Stephen's Basilica - and has attracted a large number of spectators. District's mayor Antal Rogal believes that an unusual event will help to "call attention to the fact that this is one of the most beautiful squares of Budapest."
The unique tower was made from 450,000 colorful details and surmounted by a large Rubik's Cube (it was invented in Hungary and is one of the symbols of the country).
