The cheapest sq.m in Hungary is worth in 117 times less than the most expensive one

The cheapest square meter sold in Hungary in the first half of 2014 was worth in 117 times less than the most expensive one, reports ee24.com citing vg.hu.

House in Zala in south-west Hungary was sold for €3,220 or €32.2 per sq.m. In addition the new owner got a plot of land of 19 ares. But the single square meter in apartment in Budapest can easily cost more than the aforementioned house. Property in Hungary is not as expensive as it seems at first glance. If we talk about the capital, the cheapest apartment in the first half of the year was sold for €12,9 thousand or €239 per sq.m. The most expensive "square" outside Budapest was sold in Siofok, town on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, for €1,615.
