In the ranking of the development of real estate markets Wolfsburg took the first place, thanks to a high rate of growth in rents. Even dropped by more than a thousand in the number of houses built, compared with 2007. Ingolstadt took the second place due to a significant increase in the cost of housing, as well as an increase in the number of building permits issued.

The most of new homes was built in Oldenburg. It is also the leader in the number of building permits issued. The significant increase in prices for Berlin real estate is leveled by the low rates of the new construction, leaving the city on the sixth line. The fastest rise in housing prices was recorded in Regensburg, but the weak performance of the construction and rental left it only on the ninth row.
