Strasbourg and Marseille have been recognized by experts the most accessible, and Nice and Paris - the least affordable cities to buy a home in France, reports ee24.com citing lefigaro.fr. 

If the buyer is willing to take a mortgage for 20 years and pay €1,000 per month, in Strasbourg he can afford an apartment of 83 sq.m. Rate is 2.6%, the average price of a "square" is €2,258. In second place is Marseille, where under the same conditions one can buy 78 sq.m of housing. In Toulouse, the area of affordable housing is 77 sq.m, in Nantes - 72 sq.m, in Montpellier - 68 sq.m. 

The most expensive city is Paris, where the average buyer should be satisfied with 22 sq.m (cost of sq.m in the French capital is €8,556). City of Nice is not cheap either: on the terms indicated above, an apartment with area of 49 sq.m can be purchased; the average price per sq.m is €3,797.
