Square meter on the French Riviera is setting a new price record

€216,500 is a new figure, which will now be used by specialists, describing the "ceiling" price per square meter on the French Riviera. €130 million is the cost of a mysterious villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, which became the object of this transaction. It all happened in an atmosphere of secrecy - known only area of the house - 600 m2, the total area is still unknown.

Thus, the French Riviera supported its status of the most expensive luxury real estate center:  here are situated three of the most expensive real estate objects in the world.

Palm still holds the Villa Leopold in Villefranche-sur-Mer, which wasn't purchased for €390 million by Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, so he had to pay a penalty of €39 million.

Penthouse Odeon Tower in Monaco for €300 million is on the second place, and closes the "Top three" villa in Theoule-sur-Mer, for €100 million. Or better say, closed, because now the third place unconditionally belongs to a villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

For information: for €216,500 you can buy a nice little apartment of 30 m2 in the "Golden Square", within walking distance from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais.
