Projects for closed stations of Paris metro were published on the website of Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, the candidate for mayor of Paris, reports ee24.com.
Architects Manal Rachdi and Nicolas Laisné plan to turn abandoned subway stations into public places such as swimming pool, restaurant, theater, and nightclub. Ms Kosciusko-Morizet says it's only the first sketches, and in the case she wins she is ready to attract the public to discuss the future of these stations.

There are two stations that were never opened for passengers, and there are several stations that were closed in 1939.
