Green houses in Euripe are by 27% more expensive

European authorities encourage the construction of green houses, of environmentally friendly and energy efficient buildings, corresponding the new standards. So-called green houses cost up to 27% more than typical houses, according to ee24.com citing rivieratimes.com. 

Each property depending on its energy efficiency is included in one of seven categories - A, B, C, D, E, F, or G. According to French notaries, properties from A category (most efficient) are worth up to 27% more than properties from G category.

Information from notaries confirms the conclusions of agency ADEME: the energy efficiency may increase a property value from 5% to 30%.
