Taxes will rise in Finland, mortgage privileges will be cut

Finnish authorities intend to increase consumer taxes (electricity, alcohol, sweets and tobacco), and reduce tax privileges for mortgage payers, said portal YLE.

It is planned that the tax deduction on interest on loans for education will be completely abolished, and all types of VAT will remain unchanged. The Government of Finland also reduce the corporate tax rate (from 24.5% to 20%) to stimulate the creation of new jobs.
