Secondary housing becomes more expensive in Finland

Resale homes and apartments in Finland grew by 1.4% in February 2013 compared to January 2013, according to the Statistical Office of Finland. Square meter of secondary housing costs €2,185 across the country, €3,501 - in the metropolitan area and €1,668 – in the rest of Finland.

The largest price increase (1.7%) was recorded in the whole country except for the capital region, where the cost of the secondary real estate rose by 1.2%.

Compared to February 2012, secondary housing prices increased by 2.7%, rising by 4.3% in the metropolitan area and by 1.4% - in the rest of Finland.
