Finnish "resale" is getting cheaper everywhere except the capital

Prices for second homes in Finland fell by 0.6% in June 2013 compared to the previous month. This information was distributed by Statistics Finland.

In different regions of the country prices vary in different ways. In the metropolitan area cost of second homes has increased by 0.4%, while in other regions of the country it fell by 1.5%.

For the year average prices in the country rose by 0.7%. In the metropolitan area they grew by 2.6% in other regions prices have fallen by 0.8%.

Square meter in Helsinki and the surrounding area costs an average of €3,534 in the rest of the country - €1,691. Apartments in Helsinki cost on average twice as much as in other regions.
