VESIVESKI VILLA KLOSTERHOF
Villa Klosterhof is located in Tallinn, Kloostrimetsa, in the Pirita River Valley Landscape Reserve.
The architecture of the building is unique in Estonia and fits well with the surroundings. There is high vegetation on and around the plot. On the plot, there is a residential building and a spacious garage accommodating two large or three small cars. There is also a separate terrace with an outdoor fireplace and a shelter on the plot.
There are 7 to 8 private residences close to Villa Klosterhof, forming a separate private residential area at a 10 minute driving distance from the centre of Tallinn. In the close vicinity of the residential area, there are illuminated Pirita health tracks for jogging, skiing, roller skating, bike riding, etc. There are also a number of foreign ambassador’s residences nearby. The area of the plot is 1672 square metres, and the total area of the house and garage is about 500 square metres. The architect of the buildings on the plot is Allan Strus and the interior designer of the villa is Merle Eek. The front lawn is covered with stone tiles. In the garden, there are evergreen thujas, mountain pines, decorative fir trees, and some rhododendrons and climbing roses that are easy to care for.
The villa is three-storied: on the basement floor, there is a large sauna complex with a jacuzzi and a dressing room and a relaxation area, an exclusive wine cellar, a toilet, two storerooms, and an oil fired boiler room. On the ground floor, there is a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, a shower room, two toilets, a spacious entrance room with a built-in wardrobe and a pantry, and a separate laundry room equipped with a washing machine, a dryer and the necessary furniture. On the first floor, there is a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a library/office (with a French balcony), two shower rooms and two toilets. In addition, there is a separate wardrobe room with the required furniture. The kitchen is equipped with high-quality integrated Italian kitchen furniture and Siemens kitchen appliances, and on every floor there are custom wardrobes made in Italia or Estonia. Sanitary ware and toilet furniture is made in England or by Villeroy & Boch. In the sauna rooms, Valentino ceramic tiles have been used both on walls and on the floor.
The villa is featuring a built-in Bose sound system which makes it possible, e.g., to listen to music on all floors in different rooms, e.g. in the sauna, wine cellar, library, etc. The partition walls are made of stone blocks and the floors are covered with high quality and decorative wood parquet or ceramic tiles. External and internal doors are custom made oak with various stained glass elements. There are fireplaces covered with marble on two floors.
Villa Klosterhof has been constructed with the highest quality in 2004, it is very well insulated and has low (oil) heating costs. Only floor (water) heating is used on all floors. Therefore electricity consumption is also minimal and depends on the use of lighting, household appliances, etc.
