An anonymous buyer purchased a townhouse in Liverpool, where a little Paul McCartney lived in 1947-1953. It was sold for £150,000 with the starting price of £100,000 at the auction in the legendary Cavern Club, ee24.com informs.

The townhouse locates at 72 Western Avenue on the outskirts of Liverpool, Speke area, near the city's airport. There are two halls, three bedrooms, two terraces from the front side and the back yard.
Earlier in Liverpool were sold townhouses, where legendary John Lennon (for £480,000) and George Harrison (for £156,000) spent his childhood and youth. Even John Lennon's toilet was sold for £9,500 in 2010. In Lennon and Harrison met with Paul McCartney, with whom The Quarrymen group was established, later turned into The Beatles.
