Paul McCartney's childhood home in Liverpool will be sold at auction on February 26, 2015, at the legendary Cavern Club. According to The Beatles' musician, it's "the first house that I remember," while his childhood was spent in several houses in Liverpool, where his parents Jim and Mary McCartney moved, the ee24.com informs citing theguardian.com. The starting price of the lot is £100,000 (approx. €134,000).
The townhouse locates at 72 Western Avenue on the outskirts of Liverpool, Speke area, near the city's airport. There are two halls, three bedrooms, two terraces from the front side and the back yard.
Earlier in Liverpool were sold townhouses, where legendary John Lennon and George Harrison spent his childhood and youth. In Speke they met with Paul McCartney, with whom The Quarrymen group was established, later turned into The Beatles.
