Former executive of Yukos sues for house in London

Former executive of Yukos Alexey Golubovic and his ex-wife Olga Mirimskaya divide mansion worth about 6.4 million pounds (€7.5 million). The building is located on the banks of the Thames in the London suburb of Chiswick. The house was bought by Golubovich family in 2004. The former couple divorced and are now trying through the courts to determine who's gonna own the property  in London.

Olga Mirimskaya believes that the house belongs to her, cause an offshore company, which bought this house, belongs to her. Moreover, Mirimskaya claims that all the costs of maintenance of the house were paid out of her pocket or from the accounts of the companies that were under her control.

However, according to The Daily Mail, from a legal point of view, mansion in 2008 was re-written in the name of Alexei Golubovicha. Businessman says his ex-wife's visits to the UK are very rare.

It is worth noting that Alex Golubovic was convicted in absentia in the Yukos case. He served there as Director of Strategic Planning from 1998 to 2001. He is charged with fraud with shares of Russian companies. In 2007 Golubovich was arrested in Italy, and then he agreed to return to Russia. Here he testified against the owners of Yukos and all the charges against him were dropped.
