British farmer owes the electricity cost of an apartment in St. Petersburg

Farmer from Essex Terry Rust received a bill for the consumption of electricity in the amount of 61,000 pounds (€71,500), after providing false information on the area of the estate.

The farmer accused of forming such a large debt (3,130,000 rubles) by a company Npower, which falsely considered the area of his farm, and the representatives of the opposite blame the hapless farmer himself, said ee24.com referring to The Daily Mail.

Terry Rust himself, his wife and three children live without electricity and burn candles like in the XIX century. They are not in a position to pay such a large bill at a time. Farmer tried to compromise by offering the company to pay 10,000 pounds in the first month and then every month to pay 5,000, but the company refused to such a scheme.

His wife can not believe that all this is happening in England and with their family. Without the ability to do her laundry or take a bath she hopes that good sense will prevail.
