Survey revealed that property investors choose Europe

A survey conducted by KPMG - one of the Big Four auditors - has shown that professional investors in the respective firms believe in the prospects of investments in real estate in Western and Southern Europe, reports ee24.com citing opp-connect.com.

81% of survey participants believe that real estate investment in Western Europe provide the best opportunities. 35% prefer to invest into Southern Europe, 32% believe in a good return from the North American market, 26% recommend to invest into countries of South East Asia. 23% of experts are ready to invest in Central and Eastern Europe, and 16% - in the Northern. Outsiders are: Japan (13%), Russia and Latin America (10%), Oceania, Middle East and mainland China (3%).

Investors who participated in the RE-Invest summit at MIPIM in Cannes, noted that many European markets were overvalued and there was a need to look for alternatives. For example, it is logical to shift from expensive London to markets of inexpensive luxury property in Spain.
