Germany and Copenhagen lead in "green" ratings

The Earth’s greenest city is Copenhagen, and the greenest economy is in Germany, informs the ee24.com citing the Global Green Economy Index (GGEI), covering 60 different countries and 70 cities.

The study says that Germany and Scandinavia are the first to pay attention to the green economy, as they used to, which main criteria are usage of environmental friendly technologies in production, reducing of environmental risks and ecological shortage.

According to results of expert’s GGEI questioning, Copenhagen scored 100 out of 100 possible points for energy efficiency of economy, sustainable approaches and minimal impact on climate change.
