"Eurobarometer", European Analysis Institute, published the results of the research, which was attended by a thousand people from every country of the European Union. The aim of the research was to determine which of Europeans feels most protected.
According to research first place was shared by Finland and Denmark - 98% of the inhabitants of these countries said that they feel fully protected.
Anders Hede, head of the research group, noted that these results are due to peculiarities of relations of the inhabitants of different countries with the police. If the representatives of law and order behave professionally and correctly, the level of trust of citizens increases, and therefore - confidence in their safety.
The lowest result on the results of research showed Bulgaria – only 71% of the population feels safe there.
