Ireland became the leader of the rating of countries with the largest number of citizens living abroad - 17.5% of its residents live outside the country.
Eight of the ten countries in the top 10 are European. Third place belongs to Portugal - 14% of the citizens, the fifth - from Luxembourg (12%), followed by Iceland (11.7%), Lithuania (10%), Poland (9.1%), Switzerland (7.4%) and United Kingdom (6.8%).
Among the countries with the lowest percentage of citizens who live abroad - China (0.3%), United States of America (0.5%) and Japan (0.6%).
