Study of 22 popular European resorts by House Trip shows that in many of them rental of housing is cheaper than staying in the hotels, and the difference is up to 58%, writes ee24.com.
Owners of apartments in Dubrovnik, Cannes and Palma de Mallorca can expect an influx of tourists wishing to take the apartment for rent. One bedroom apartment in the Croatian resort is available for €72, and a hotel room - for €171. Thus, the difference amounts to €99. A bit less is in Cannes and Palma de Mallorca - €82 and €70 respectively.
Barcelona and Paris are also among the cities where it is better to choose the rental. In the capital of Catalonia one can save €68 per night (€60 vs €128), in the French capital - €58 (€101 vs €159).
