Average cost of apartment in Budapest is only €1,238 per square meter. Apartment in area of 60 sq.m in the centre of Budapest can be bought for €74,280, in Bucharest - for €81,000, in Bratislava - for €123,220, in Ljubljana - €145,200. Apartment in Berlin on average is worth €166,980, in Madrid - €215,040, in Munich - €358,980. The most expensive apartment, according to the company, is available in the heart of Paris. It costs €699,105, with an average price of square meter of €11,652.
To buy an apartment, a family from Berlin should save money for 3.5 years, from Ljubljana - for 5 years, from Budapest - for 6.5 years, from Madrid - for 8 years. To buy an apartment in the centre of Paris, a family should work 13.5 years. A family from Bucharest, the capital of one of the poorest countries in the European Union, has to work for 17.5 years in order to buy an apartment.
