Having experienced the full impact of the financial crisis, some European countries have started their part to actively expand the "window to Europe" for EU non-residents. Trend exchange residence permit on investments (so-called "golden visa") expands and attracts more and more interest from the Russians. The process is so fast that it is sometimes difficult to keep up with all the innovations. Also, some countries are introducing new rules for permanent residence and citizenship.
