Real estate in the Czech Republic has risen in price by 10% year on year

According to the company Finlord, the value of residential property in the Czech Republic has increased on average 10%. According to analysts, over the next 2 years prices will rise by another 10-15%.


The highest growth is observed in Jihlava (+17,5%). Price increase was also demonstrated in other cities such as Ostrava, Brno and Zlín. The Usti Region is the only region of the Czech Republic, where the average cost per square meter decreased.


The most expensive housing is located in the 1st district of Prague (almost €5,000 per sqm). The most intensive growth of prices in Prague is in 8 district (over 17%). In Prague-4 prices have risen by 4% only in January and February.
