In May 2013 the volume of construction in Croatia decreased by 8.6% (in value terms) compared to the same period last year. Given the seasonal factor, the rate decreased by 1.3% on a monthly basis. In real terms, the volume of construction decreased by 7.6% compared with March 2012.
The rate of residential construction fell by 16.9% in May 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.
As a percentage of the construction of new homes in Croatia took 52% of the time, and for the construction of other facilities - 48% of the time.
