Billionaire will build a hotel complex with the airport in Dubrovnik

Malaysian billionaire Vincent Tan announced his plans to invest € 5 billion in the construction of a hotel complex "Pearl of Dubrovnik" in the Bay of Kotor. It is reported by the Croatian newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija. First of all it's planned to build the hotel named "The Three Sisters", condos and parking for boats. Billionaire plans to spend € 1 billion on these construction.

Completely complex will consist of 7 hotels, residential areas for 400 apartments and parking for 400 yachts, over 200 villas, a golf course with a field of 27 holes and a shopping center. In addition, the airport and a special runway for private air assets will be built. Food and staff will come from neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The billionaire has already signed all the necessary papers with the Croatian company Profectus Grupa, which will be engaged in the development of the project.

Vincent Tan's wealth is estimated at € 7,6 bn. He owns a football club "Cardiff City", which was promoted to English Premier League last year. Also, the billionaire owns the largest real estate company in Malaysia.
