Hotels are the only segment of the real estate market in Bulgaria, which sees no signs of crisis. They are very popular in Sofia, reports Novinite. And residential sector is interesting for investors in two and three-bedroom apartments.
Bulgarian businessman, banker and investor George Veltchev said that the Bulgarians started to invest in their own economy, as evidenced by the recent sale of well-located hotel Radisson Blu in Sofia. "Investments in the hotel industry are back in fashion," - the businessman said.
In the next 2-3 years at least, two major brands may appear in Bulgaria. According to Veltchev, it will be world-class hotels, such as Marriott and Hyatt, not the average Spanish or French companies.
