In 2013 the number of buyers of apartments in Sofia willing to pay less than €80 thousand, has increased, according to ee24.com citing monitor.bg.
Arco Real Estate study reveals the strongest increase in the share of buyers with a budget below €30 thousand. The share of Bulgarians who were looking for apartments for €30-50 thousand and for €50-80 thousand, also increased a bit. The share of buyers willing to pay €80-120 thousand declined from 20% in the 1st half of 2013 to 10% in the 2nd half of 2013.
The most popular in Sofia were apartments of 50-80 sq.m (44% of requests), as well as of 80-120 sq.m (33% of requests). The share of people willing to move to apartments with an area of less than 50 sq.m increased to 11%.
While budgets for the purchase of apartments are reducing, more and more residents of Sofia are ready to rent flats for €250 and more per month.
