Bulgarians buy spacious apartments on the cheap

Two leading companies specializing in the sale of real estate in Bulgaria, have surveyed customer preferences. It turned out that apartments with small rooms, low ceilings and poor planning are sold at a cheaper rate in Sofia, and most people are looking for apartments priced below €50,000, according to ee24.com citing monitor.bg.

Portal ee24.com has already reported that 3 out of 4 purchases of property in Bulgaria can be attributed to the low-cost. Only 16% of consumers are interested in property priced from €70,000 to €100,000, and 9% are willing to buy apartments worth more than €100,000.

Two out of three buyers want to buy a one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments in Sofia, others prefer one-room and studio apartments. It turns out that the average buyer of property in Bulgaria is looking for a large apartment at a low price. By the way, if square of bedroom is below of 10 sq.m or if walls are less than 2.4 m high, owners typically reduce the price to find a buyer quicker.
