Homes of "Desperate Housewives" will be available in reality

The developer was inspired by the fictional Wisteria Lane in the suburb Fairview, Eagle State (which in fact does not exist), inhabited by the characters of the American TV series "Desperate Housewives".

The real homes will be built in the small town Gerpinnes in Belgium. It is planned to reconstruct a copy of Wisteria Lane from 20 houses on the road, "surrounded by manicured gardens", as well as 18 apartments of various sizes.

The project will include a playground, green areas and parking with ventilation. Street’s name is Gougnia Lane.

Didier Eggermont, managing director of construction, said the facilities will best resemble the housing main protagonist. In addition, the project will provide a beautiful view and the proximity to the center.

House prices of "Desperate Housewives" are from 130,000 euros and will reach 350,000 euros, excluding taxes and fees depending on the type of housing, said RTLInfo.be. The project is in the early phase of development, construction began in late 2012. The next two years houses will be built.
