In August 2014, foreigners bought 1,774 houses and apartments in Turkey, which exceeds July figures twofold. Among leaders were investors from the UK, Russia and Germany. The top-10 buyers own 85,649 properties, or 76.8% of all "foreign fund" in Turkey. Foreigners mostly settle in Antalya on the Mediterranean coast (Alanya, Belek, Kas, Kemer, Side and others): there dominate citizens of Russia (9,396 objects), Norway (6,985), Germany (5,828), the Great Britain (5,481) Denmark (4,527), the Netherlands (3,222) and Sweden (2,587).

Aegean coast is very popular among buyers from the UK. 14,852 properties is owned by British in Mugla (Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, Milas, Gocek, Dalyan, Oludeniz and Dalaman), and 12,892 objects in Aydin (areas of Didim and Kusadasi).

The Germans with their 834 objects are the largest real estate owners in Istanbul among foreigners.
