Description
The Manor House is situated in the centre of a small town of the same name, in a picturesque valley between the protected mountain ranges of the Greater and Lesser Fatra. The region boasts of popular geothermal resorts, the major national park of Tatra with every kind of outdoor activity, and the ski resort of Martinske Hole.
2 800 sq. m of the main building, distributed on 4 levels (elevator installed), comprise the gala hall with adjacent rooms, a restaurant, a bar, 39 hotel rooms and various auxiliary premises. The manor house, built in the XVIII century by the Counts Révay, has been fully restored after 2007 and is in perfect condition. The gala hall and ballrooms are decorated in the rococo style. The restaurant wing includes a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a separate bar space, two restaurant halls and a wine cellar.
A vast historical park, with over a hundred species of rare trees and plants, lies on 16.5 hectares behind the main building. The beautiful 400+ sq. m pavilion in the park also dates back to the Counts Révay. There are also minor service outbuildings (formerly stables) at the outer edge of the estate. Research has indicated the presence of geothermal waters underneath the estate, which allows for the creation of a SPA centre on the premises. (Report to be made available upon request.)
