The main lake is called Lozova and it is situated near Branistea Village of 18 km distance from Galati City. Its surface is around 150 ha. The main lake is used for mature fish production. Another 3 lakes in surface of 4 ha each are used for growing different age of fish. In the same area are diferent lakes in total surface around 5000 m2 for fish reproduction. Lozova is used for industrial fishing.

The second lake is called Potcoava and it is also situated near Bransitea Village, near Siret River. It is used for recreational fishing.

The third lake is called Potarnichea and it is located near Costache Negri Village at 47 km distance from Galati City.
