By the end of 2015 the average price of housing in Portugal was €1906 per sq. m. Thus, the Portuguese real estate market has entered the list of 10 most affordable markets in Europe.
According to the Portuguese Association of real estate agents, the most expensive square footage was sold in the Principality of Monaco and the UK. Houses and apartments here are for sale at €45,000 and €25 575 per square meter, respectively.
The study is based on a comparative analysis of the cost per square meter in the objects area of about 120 sq. m. Analysts take into account the property, located in the central part of the major European cities and capitals.
