Norwegian couple built a "Hobbit House"

A couple from Norway built a house of straw and mud inside a glass dome, where they are going to grow oranges and tomatoes, despite the fact that they live in the Arctic Circle, according to ee24.com citing thelocal.no.

The house, named Naturhuset or "Natural House" looks like "Hobbit House" and is surrounded by a glass dome, covering an area of 180 sq.m. Inside are a vegetable garden and a terrace, on which the pair is going to grow fruits and vegetables: oranges, tomatoes, zucchini and green pepper.

Under the ceiling couple built a terrace, where they are going to enjoy the view of the stars and do yoga.

The house is located on the island of Sandhornøy south of Bodø in the north of Norway. The pair grew up on this island. The construction of the house took one and a half year and cost of 3 million Norwegian kroner (€366,600). The couple is going to enter into a new house closer to winter.
