Montenegrin authorities are willing to sell state property

Council on Privatization and Capital Projects, headed by Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, has approved plans for the privatization of 13 large companies and properties in Montenegro, according to ee24.com citing gdeinvestirati.com.

Montenegro Airlines, Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy, Budvanska Riviera, Ulcinjska Riviera, the Adriatic Shipyard and other assets will be put up for sale.

Council has also compiled a list of projects proposed for development through public-private partnership: Mamula and Ada Bojana islands, a tourist complex Bigovo, the longest beach in the coutnry Velika plaža and others. This choice was not accidental: the Government reserves the participation in prestigious projects on the Adriatic coast, confirming the line for creating a powerful tourism cluster in Montenegro.
