The Americans will complete the project launched by Sergei Polonsky

Housing project Duckley Gardens in Budva at Cape Zavala, which was started by the famous Russian businessman Sergei Polonsky under the brand Astra Montenegro, has entered the final phase. A former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar attended the celebration of this occasion. Under the plan the project should be completed by the end of next year, reports ee24.com citing BalkanPro.ru.

The U.S. official noted in his speech that the project Duckley Gardens is the largest private investment in Montenegro, which has attracted increasing attention of American businessmen. So, Americans will invest in construction projects in Budva, Petrovac, Kotor, and some cities in the north of the country. Montenegrin real estate, tourism cluster, energy and infrastructure will serve as the main areas for cooperation between the two countries.

The work on the project was started by the company Mirax Group of well-known Russian oligarch Sergei Polonsky. However, during the global crisis, the construction was frozen. Work resumed only in 2011 jointly by Monterra and AMIA. At the moment the project is completed by 80%. It is reported that after the opening of a hotel complex in the city 500 jobs will be created.

Recall that ee24.com wrote that Russians and Azerbaijanis are buying luxury apartments in a newly built complex Duckley Gardens.
