The ancient part of the city resembles a historical and architectural museum located in the open air. At the end of the 19th century, the city was almost completely destroyed, and many historical monuments were lost. Nevertheless, more than two hundred objects are still available for research, even if some are in ruins. In the Old Bar you can see the ruins of the Cathedral, the oldest churches of the 11th century, the ancient city gates. It is noteworthy that the centuries-old "antiquity" peacefully coexists with modern buildings.
