A floating city for millionaires will be built in Monaco. It's called "Streets of Monaco" and is going to be entirely populated by millionaires and members of high society.
It is planned that this will be no boat or ocean liner, but a city with houses, private mansions, casinos, bars, beaches, hotels and swimming pools. And all this magnificence will be based on a floating basis. Experts point out that from an architectural point of view a floating "Monaco" will be similar to a "land" one.
Employees of the company Yacht Island Design, engaged in the development of the project, state, that the city is still only at the stage of drawing. The project cost is estimated at $1 billion.
Experts suggest that there will be few tourists in the city, and the population will consist mainly of flat owners of different classes - from business to luxury. The highlight of the project will be seven VIP-bedroom penthouses, in which all possible luxury will be concentrated.
The city will consist of several zones: residential, office, hotel and entertainment. The authors expect that the most attractive part of the new city will be the entertainment area with lots of casinos.
